4 Mobile Sources Priorities and Issues Mobile Sources Air Toxics Mobile Sources Air Toxics  EPA Proposed Rule to control MSATs issued 1. Reduces benzene in gasoline by 36% in 2011 2. Tightens standards for non-methane hydrocarbon emissions in new cars 3. Limits emissions from evaporation/permeation of portable gasoline containers  Most states see this as a needed federal control that will not affect local programs  Some states are looking at National Air Toxics Assessment data to understand the mobile sources component
