Foul Calling Principles Blow Whistle Hard (single sharp blast) and punch sky Report Color, Number and Type of Foul on Spot Report Shots or Out of Bounds on the Spot > Non-Calling Officials: find fouled player Hustle to the Foul Reporting Area Report Foul 1. Count or Disallow the Basket 2. Jersey Color 3. Player Number 4. Penalty/Foul Type 5. Shots (bonus or shooting foul) or Out of Bounds 6. Hustle to your next position

Shooting Foul Principles Calling official always table-side Old table-side official should trade with calling official 3 rd official, stay at position Center official: count 10 sec, see shooter & watch lane Lead official: watch lane Trail official: watch everything

Non-Shooting Foul Principles How To Switch 1. First, Switch the Officials 2. Calling official goes to table-side to report - If you are the non-calling official and you are table-side (not Lead), Take your partner’s spot -If you are the non-calling official and you are opposite-side, STAY PUT 3. Now, 2 Officials are on the side where ball will go in as in any other throw-in.
