1 RAS Outsourcing Transition Schedule 10/16/06

2 2 Transition Proposal Request new 800# and local numbers from Level3. Dialup clients (800# and local) will need to be configured for each RAS user with the following changes: phone#, PAP authentication, userid/pass set to UCAS userid/pass. Old dialup clients (800# and local) will be valid for 1 month after the cutover date.

3 3 Dependencies Proxy RADIUS supported on high availability system. UCAS RADIUS support for authorization. Charge back and RAS usage reports: code change to support RADIUS accounting records.

4 4 Timeline 10/16/06 – 12/1/06: Negotiate and sign contract. 12/1/06 – 2/27/07: All RAS users have new dialup clients installed. 12/31/06: UCAS authorization, RADIUS proxy, and charge back/report code conversion tested and completed. 1/1/07 – 1/22/07: Advertise RAS changes to the user community. 1/22/07: Outsource RAS service activated and ready for use. 2/28/07: Existing RAS PRI’s turned down. All RAS users must be using outsource RAS.
