5 Proposal of the Survey Aim –Comparison of labor behavior in Russia, East Germany and West Germany in case of having more than one job Object –population of Russia and Germany aged 15-65 and occupied in more than one job. Subject –behavior on the labor markets (in point of having two or more jobs)

8 Methodology Data –RLMS and GSOEP (2006) – individual questionnaires –Sample: 400 persons in Russia and 500 persons in Germany who have second job (any regular type of additional paid employment) Method –Regression Dependent variable: possibility of having additional job Independent variables: characteristics of main job (wages, duration of working day/week, type of the job (full-time/part- time)), characteristics of second job (income, time of work) and personal features (sex, age, education, marital status, children) –Cluster analysis characteristics of main job, characteristics of second job and personal features + qualitative variables
