2. The study This research has been conducted with a sample of a 400 respondents from Germany, Italy, Lithuania and Malta. For the purpose of this study a stratified random sample was chosen. This was considered the best method to research the needs of the population under study. The results cannot be transposed for the populations of these countries but they are indicative of the needs of the population under study.
