General Climate and Terrain The climate in the Bahamas is pleasantly subtropical, with an average winter temperature of 23° C (73° F ) and an average summer temperature of 27° C (81° F ). Rainfall averages 127 cm (50 in), and there are occasional hurricanes. The Terrain is Long, with flat corals formations, and some low rounded hills.

Plant and animal life Animal Nassau grouper which is found only in the Bahamas. Nurse sharks, Porcupine fish and Sting rays are also in the Bahamas Plants Some plants in the Bahamas are: Cancer tree, Five finger, Prince wood and the Geiger tree. Royal Poinciana, African tulip and the Poor man's orchid. Nassau grouper Poor Man’s Orchid
