2 Grant guidance is received US Department of Health & Human Services February/March Refer to the 5 Year Strategy Capability work sessions: 15 Capabilities = 15 Meetings KDHE staff Hospital representative (8 coinciding healthcare preparedness capabilities) Public health representative Develop goals, objectives, outcomes, outputs Draft work plans created after work sessions are completed

3 HPP-PHEP Planning Group Review state work plan activities for the next grant year Side by side review of draft community/regional hospital work plans with local health department/regional public health work plans Discuss funding allocations Discuss any other in-kind match needs KALHD – KDHE Preparedness Team Seven hospital Regional Coordinators Kansas Hospital Education and Research Foundation Will invite a Kansas Division of Emergency Management representative in future years
