Matrix algebra There are two families A and B. There are 4 men, 6 women and 2 children in family A. On the other hand, there are 2 men, 2 women and 4 children in family B. Represent the above information by Matrix notation.

Matrix algebra A company has one head office and two sub-offices in a town. There are one Head Clerk, two Clerks and one Peon in each office. In addition, there are one Manager in the head office and one Cashier in each sub- office. Represent the above information by Matrix notation.

Mr. X is manufacturing Chairs and Tables. A Chair requires 3 labour hours and 5 units of material whereas each Table requires 5 labour hours and 8 units of material. If Mr. X plans to produce 15 Chairs and 5 Tables, how many labour hours will need to work and how much material will he require? Use Matrix algebra.
