Teacher Guidelines Classroom teacher(s) are pivotal to the success of the process. Teachers’ obligations are governed by the Mobile Device Procedures and Acceptance Form. 15
Teacher Guidelines “exercise appropriate professional judgment and common sense when using the District’s mobile devices and computers.” “Staff members will not be held responsible for computer problems resulting from regular school-related use; however, staff members will be held personally responsible for any problems caused by their negligence.
16
Substitutes & Laptop Carts Teachers should NOT schedule a Laptop Cart when a sub is in the classroom. Subs do not have training on the proper use of the Cart, and students are more likely to do damage to a laptop or go to inappropriate websites. Do not put use of mobile carts in EMERGENCY lesson plans or regular lesson plans for a sub.
