6. PSI – Irradiated boards and cables

7.  The amount of boards and cables from previous irradiation start to become significant  Use a label on the DUT and on the cables to identify  Equipment  Group/Responsible contact  Date of the test  Specify if you want to recuperate or throw it away (once the activation levels are low). The material is under your responsibility

8. PSI - Note on Profibus controller  Anybus IC. Tested at PSI to implement the data communication from an acquisition board to a PLC  ASIC does not stand radiation (overcurrent consumption as soon as beam is on)  Work-around  IP core for FPGA could be bought  Use of ModBus. Require a rad tol RS485 transceiver. Good candidate?

CEA – 1 MeV facility  Request of beam time for 2013 to be sent by next week  Test is advised for equipment in DS LHC areas and SPS  Passive test can be an option  Send your request by specifying the components and the location  A brief communication is appreciated if you do not consider such a test  Beam slots in October/ November

10. TID test for the future  Use of external facility under consideration  GIF++. Dedicated source at CERN  Foreseen for the experiments  Negotiations to get test slots and have a Co60 source

11. News on NanoFip purchase  Ordered 2 batches of 5000 A3P400-PQG208 each  Batch 1 (non programmed) expected on 03.09.2012  Batch 2 (programmed and marked with logo) expected on 26.11.2012  ~10 components per batch will be tested at PSI @ E. Gousiou
