Progression requirements: two required first-year courses: CS100 and CS101 an overall GPA of 5.0 (C) minimum GPA of 5.0 (C) in CS100 and CS101 1 st YR CS GPA of 6.0 (C+) (over both CS100 and CS101) Going forwards (ie, progression from year 2 to 3, 3 to 4) CS GPA = average of CS100 and CS101 plus any CS core course plus any CS elective course (including those you may have taken in first year: LL200, LL201, MI200, & MI201, for example). CS major GPA must = 6.0 or higher for progression with a major GPA of 7.0 or better by graduation for the degree with Honours.

Co-op Program: must have an overall GPA of 7.0 or better apply at the end of 1 st or beginning of 2 nd year work term is in the summer submit final report at the end of the summer examples of co-op placements filled by CS students: –Art Galleries, Museums, Heritage Centres, Non-profit organizations, –Sporting clubs administered by the university, not the CS Department there are no CS-exclusive Co-op positions

5. Study abroad Minimum GPA 7.0 Administered by Laurier International Strict deadlines, you need to meet with CS academic advisor WELL IN ADVANCE of LI’s deadlines (the last of which is in January, normally).
