3 Mission The mission of the Cadet Program is to contribute to the development and preparation of youth for the transition to adulthood, enabling them to meet the challenges of modern society, through a dynamic community-based program.

4 Vision A relevant, credible and proactive youth development organization, offering the program of choice for Canada’s youth, preparing them to become the leaders of tomorrow through a set of fun, challenging, well-organized and safe activities.

15 Our Good FTU Large enough that everything else doesn’t stop to train cadets or a natural low in the summer time. 16 Our Good FTU Class 1 and 2 instructors available to mentor and supervise class 4 instructors Ramp, hangars, reception area, classroom etc large enough to have a group of cadets around. 17 The Cadets They are teenagers Selected for the course Selected based on interest in the subject area and performance as an Air cadet not on their probability of passing the course. Some will not have ability to finish in 7 weeks Graduates wear a very coveted badge on their uniform. Can lead to a lot of internal pressure. 18 Power Familiarization Upgrade Program Intended to advance pilots from their basic license to 30 hrs PIC so they can fly Air Cadets under our regulations. Consists primarily of solo flying.
