Benefits Don’t have to leave your desk Eliminates travel time and expenses for participant and presenter Can utilize National presenters without the travel expenses Eliminates facility and food expense Can hold one session instead of multiple sessions on a regional basis

Challenges Difficult to know if participants are retaining anything or engaged Distractions (email, co-workers, paperwork) Not as stimulating for some Technology can fail (one phone line, internet service is down, etc) Interaction

Things They Liked Convenience – didn’t have to leave their desk No travel – saved time and $ Materials available before the session Access to National presenters/contacts Could submit questions without interrupting the presenter Times of session (usually over the lunch hour)

Lessons Learned Need to have multiple presenters (3) Interaction is critical Opportunity for Q&A between presenters Visuals are important (slides, text boards, polls, application sharing – web tours)
