4. Provides service opportunities and experiences for chapters

5. Involves students with organizations such as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

6. Gives members experience in organizing blood drives and running fundraisers

7. This year, HOSA has teamed up with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and students have raised thousands of dollars.

9. Scholarships

10. Members were given $30,000 in scholarship money in Utah alone and $89,300 at Nationals

11. Scholarships provided to students came from organizations such as the ROTC and Intermountain Healthcare

12. Competition

13. Allows you to showcase your unique abilities on a competitive level, especially specific to healthcare

14. Provides fun and competitive opportunities to travel to:  Disney World in Orlando, FL  Disneyland in Anaheim, CA  Nashville, Tennessee
