9 What is (TK) – Transition Kindergarten Program  First year of a two-year Kindergarten program  TK provides children with the gift of time to learn skills that will help build a strong foundation for school success  Implements a modified Kindergarten curriculum that is age and developmentally appropriate  Focus on development of social emotional; literacy, math & science skills that promotes school as well as life success.  For children who are five between September 2, 2015 and December 2,2015  17 Sites - Bayview; Chavez;Coronado;Dover;Downer;Ford;Grant; Harding; Lake;Lupine; Montalvin; Nystrom; Olinda; Peres; Shannon; Sheldon; & Stege
