Pre-K vs. School Age While Pre-K transportation does require special training and equipment, the need for a completely separate fleet is often not necessary. ~ This session will discuss the viable options transportation administrators have to integrate the two into one, more efficient transportation world.

3. Who do you transport now?  Take an assessment  Will this enrollment and population be changing?  What are the rules?  Is the Pre-K Special Ed and/or Headstart?  Who decides?

4. Contracted and/District Decisions  Are the contract rules clear for ALL ages?  Is the equipment used for Pre-K students on buses district owned?  Training issues?  Session times for dual programs  Union challenges?

5. Funding?  Where’s is your coming from?  Are the funds for Pre-K transport restricted?  Will combining resources help or hurt?  Data is your ally & best “weapon”
