1. Our School By THE KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS AT OUR LADY OF PEACE

2. Our Lady of Peace Our Lady of Peace is an elementary school in Columbus, Ohio in the United States of America. There are two kindergarten classes at Our Lady of Peace. Mrs. Stock and Mrs. Gruber are the kindergarten teachers. The students in the kindergarten classes are five or six years old. Together we will tell about our school!

3. This is the outside of the school building. This is the front of the school.

4. This is the cornerstone of the school building. It tells that the building was built 56 years ago in 1951!

5. This is the front door of the school. This is the cornerstone. Some kindergarteners are standing on the front porch!

6. This is Mrs. McEntire. She is the school secretary. She is usually the first person a visitor sees when they arrive at Our Lady of Peace!

7. This is the principal of Our Lady of Peace. Her name is Mrs. Folian! She has a very busy office. She is in charge of EVERYTHING!

8. This is our gymnasium. We have class in the gym. We play games there!

9. Kindergarteners learn to count, to write and to work together. We love art!

10. This is a corner in Mrs. Gruber’s classroom. Our work is hanging on the walls!

11. Some kindergarteners are working. They are practicing their handwriting.

12. This is the reading corner in one of the kindergarten classrooms. We love books!

13. The students at Our Lady of Peace work very hard.

14. In the kindergarten there are books, puzzles and things to count and sort.

15. Mrs. Stock is working with her students.

16. Mrs. Stock’s class is learning about the calendar.

17. Mrs. Stock’s class is studying about China!

18. These students are learning the Mandarin language.

19. This is a class of older students.

20. The children use books to study.

21. The children raise their hands because they want to answer a question.

22. There are ten classes at Our Lady of Peace.

23. The walls are covered with art projects the students have made!

24. These children are studying.

25. We can borrow books from our school library.

26. Mrs. Ashmore and Mrs. Farmer cook our lunch. We eat in the cafeteria.

27. The older children learn to play musical instruments. They are practicing!

28. These are the doors to the bathrooms. One says WOMEN and one says MEN.

29. This is where we get a drink of water.

30. This is a structure on the playground. The ginkgo tree is on the playground too!

31. This field is part of the playground. We love recess!

32. We have a pond just outside of the science room in our school.
