3.  English/Language Arts/Writing  These areas are all inclusive with our daily Literacy Centers  Focus on the development of reading and writing skills  Differentiated guided reading groups to develop reading skills

4. We begin by focusing on our illustrations, and then add invented spelling to match them. As the year progresses, the students will write more than one sentence with correct sentence structure that will match their illustration.

5. Common Core Math -The topics covered include: ~number naming ~Counting by 1’s and 10’s to 100 ~shapes (2D & 3D) ~ graphing ~ measurement ~ addition ~ subtraction
