The Pyramid from the Foundation Up An Effective Workforce – positive relationships with children, families and colleagues. Nurturing and Responsive Relationships among adults and children is essential High Quality, early childhood environments promote positive outcomes for all children Targeted Social Emotional Supports – systematic approaches to teaching social skills can have a preventative and remedial effect Intensive Intervention (Top of the Pyramid) – assessment based intervention that results in individualized behavior support plans

Putting it all together Red Light Warning – this only works if you take them OFF of red – Feed the meter – acknowledge positive change and MOVE them back to yellow/green Fill the Transition Void…or expect Trouble!
