Are you struggling in your life? Are there struggles which you have no idea of understanding why or where they come from? Are there sins of the past that you have not dealt with? Have you given satan’s forces any ground in your life? Do you have any strongholds in your life?

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 …For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, 6 being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.

Spiritual battle – not human ingenuity, worldly wisdom, or clever methodologies
useless in freeing men's souls cannot bring maturity cannot oppose satanic assault

Weapons that are mighty through God
Truth— John 17:17 (ESV) Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. Hebrews 4:12 (ESV) For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Pulling down strong holds
Strong holds cannot be given if ground has not first of all been surrendered

Steps to regaining the ground (taking thoughts captive)
Salvation is a must Confess each sin that God brings to your mind Claim the blood of Christ for cleansing Ask God (out loud) to regain the "ground." Tear down strongholds with truth Transform your mind with truth Fully forgive offenders

Revelation 12:11 (ESV) And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.

Are you saved? Are you living in truth Have you confessed sins? Have you through the Blood of Christ taken back ground? Are you living in the fullness of the Holy Spirit?
