So what might these opportunities look like? Focused but QUICK feedback from ALL Each student/group writes an idea/concept/definition on a post-it and sticks to a piece of paper for you to check as they go onto the next task. Highlight any misconceptions there and then.

So what might these opportunities look like? LAZY progress checks – let them do it for you! Students www/ebi eachother’s work – TIP: encourage students to provide a clear ebi that can be achieved in 5 minutes (during that lesson!)

What happens when they are doing a practical lesson or a project that spans several lessons or even a half term? Project booklets that track lesson-by-lesson progress. Updated by each student during the lesson (mini learning lines?) Model for students – what is a quality next-step target? How will they evaluate, with quality comments, what they have done?
