9 9 FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY Office of Human Resources Policy Overview Per Florida Statute 110.224 (2), each public employee must have a performance evaluation at least annually, and the employee must receive an oral and written assessment of his or her performance evaluation. Florida State University policy is to communicate Administrative and Professional (A&P) and University Support Personnel System (USPS) employee’s job performance expectations and management’s evaluation of the employee's job performance. 12 12 FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY Office of Human Resources Completing the Evaluation USPS Process: – ePerformance (OMNI): Employee evaluations will be completed using the full electronic module Including:  Annual Evaluation  Probationary Evaluation  Special Evaluation – Hybrid Process: Select group of employee evaluations will be completed using both the electronic module and paper

13 13 FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY Office of Human Resources Hybrid Process Permits completion of the evaluation using both electronic and paper format. The process allows for… – Evaluations are completed by the supervisor and approved by the higher level supervisor using the OMNI module. – Evaluations are then printed and acknowledged by employee on paper. – Employee receives a copy of the signed evaluation for his/her records. – Supervisor will forward a copy of the signed evaluation to HR for the personnel file. **Departments identified for the Hybrid process will be notified by HR.**
