Here is some information about our bread in Syria. 1-We eat white wheaten bread on a regular basis. 2-We purchase this bread from the bakery in a very acceptable price (15 sp). 3-This bread is circling, thin and consists of two sections (upper and lower). 4-The smell of it is very delicious and fresh. 5-This bread could be eaten alone or with other meals. 6-I prefer it when it is hot and fresh. 7-The bread includes: water, salt, yeast and flour. 8-The main ingredient in it is the flour bakeries get it from the wheat.

Bread is the main food for people in Arab home. Almost all Syrian bakeries are automatic. Their bread is so delicious they use the Syrian wheat which is one of the best wheat in the world. In our country the cooks are like the artists so they do a lot of new ships. If we want to talk about the ships, we have first the public one, It's public because of its nutritional value. It's circular and so thin. The second one called ( Tannour ) They put it in a special stove, which has the same name. This stove is one of the Syrian tradition. you can try this kind of bread when you go to the villages. People here consider it as the most delicious one. There is also a kind that most people all over the world know here we call it ( Sammoun ) which means the fat bread, it is so big compared with the others. By the way we don't eat it alone usually we put cheese, Yogurt, chocolate, ………..etc. It's so delicious,I hope you could taste it..
