Adding Integers Remember the rules? Positive + Positive = Negative + Negative = Positive + Negative = Negative + Positive = Positive Negative 1.Find the difference between the two numbers. 2.Take the sign of the number with the greater absolute value.

Subtracting Integers Subtracting an integer is the same as: Adding its opposite Therefore, Subtracting a positive is the same as: Adding a negative Subtracting a negative is the same as: Adding a positive Then, just use the addition rules to solve!
