Outcome 1 Increased awareness and support for the MDGs and the Fund INTERVENTIONS Strategic partnerships with the media National and local level awareness raising: key events Joining hands with select civil society organizations on MDG advocacy Working with UNCG for joint MDG communications

Outcome 2 Leverage programmes for increased MDG results INTERVENTIONS Encourage national appropriation of positive policy frameworks Strengthen civil society organization and participation Facilitate knowledge sharing for scaling up and advocacy. Working with key partners towards the 2010 global MDG Review

Outcome 3 Achieve greater accountability and transparency INTERVENTIONS To all partners, including Governments, citizens and donor- access to information and opportunities for effective participation Ensure clarity and consistency of outcomes sought, messages transmitted Build MDG-F identity ensuring appropriate visibility
