2. Percent The ratio of a number to 100. Needs to be converted to a fraction or a decimal to compute.

3. To convert a % into a Decimal… Move the decimal over two spots to the left and drop the %

4. Ex 1: Write as a decimal: 137% = 1.37

5. To convert the % into a fraction... Drop the percent sign put the number over 100 and reduce if possible

6. Ex 2: Write as a fraction: 37.5% = Cannot leave fractions or decimals in fractions 10 ÷25

7. Write a Fraction as a % Set your fraction = to x/100 and solve for x

8. Ex 3: Write as a percent: Cross-product 
