Two ways to multiply (make disciples)
Multiplying my life– Take responsibility to help a couple other people grow spiritually (taking initiative, but not being pushy) Get to know a variety of people – ABF, studies, coffee… Intentionally encourage them – Ask, follow up… Consistently pray for them – Make a list... Multiplying my ministry– Mentor others in my current ministry (2 to multiply) Expect to eventually replace yourself – stop feeling possessive. Expect them to improve on how you do it – stop feeling defensive.

Multiplying (John 15) Bearing fruit through others
I can only bear fruit through abiding in Christ – living close and dependent on Christ (15:1-7). Bearing fruit is how I glorify God (15:8). Bearing fruit is the result of loving God (15:9-10) Bearing fruit results in real joy (15:11-13) Bearing fruit makes me God’s friend (15:14-15). Bearing fruit enables my impact to outlive me (15:16). God delights to answer fruit-bearing prayers (John 14:12-14; 15:7, 16; 16:23-24).
