4.  As a student I am a visual/tactile learner and I believe the VAK learning styles have showed me how I can best read and thus I can focus my energy of the strengths I already do have as a learner so I can do well in my course.  The learning styles have also created awareness in me, such that I can attempt to develop my not so strong suits such as visual to be an all round kind of student for now and the future

5.  They have increased my tolerance for other peoples’ learning behaviour and methods, in that way I can be more empathetic and accommodating and therefore a better team player in group assignments.  It has also helped me develop personalised reading habits that will help me retain information better such audio repalys and attempting tasks and assignments over and over so that I will understand.  I believe they will make me the A student I believe I can be.

6. I am part of the Research and Development team at NEW EDGE OIL AND GAS co. and believe leaving these learning skills (VAK) has taught me;  To be a better team player, taking on duties I’m most efficient at doing, which will be for the success of my company in the long run.

7.  I believe it will improve my confidence in the field, as an individual and thus a more enthusiastic team member, which is good for the overall morale of my team.  I also believe it will give me a good understanding of how the rest of my team works, so I can be patient and understanding of how they learn and adjust where necessary.  It will also help me save resources, as head of Research and Development I can delegate appropriately, such that team members do what they are best at.  I can work a lot faster, produce more reliable results and in case of a presentation I can interpret my findings in ways that the whole team would understand as I would prepare both visual, audio, team work activities and presentations so that they will understand and better do their work in the company.
