2 Break walls Break walls are design to stop or slow the big ocean waves getting to the boats moored in the harbour

3 Break walls The rocks used in a break wall have created an area that the tube worms, periwinkles and oysters have made their home

5 Jetties Jetties are made so that boats can pull up along side them to access the land without getting the boat stuck on the shore

6 Jetties The pylons on a jetty create an area for marine animals to live

8 Roads Roads allow access to places we want to go

9 Roads Run off from roads can end up in our Estuaries.

18 Coastal Development There are new building sites being created along the Australian coastline

19 Coastal Development A wide range of bird species breed in the coastal zone
