Course Objectives: Learn process of system development, define, and model & manage requirements needed for systems Main topics to be covered include: Requirements Engineering Process Requirements Elicitation Requirements Analysis. Form of Study: The course will consist of: Class Lectures every Monday at 0900- 1100 Practical session at 1100-1300 (every Monday) and 0900-1100 (Tuesday to Friday) Intensive group work at 1300-1700 (on Monday) & 1100-1700 (Tuesday-Friday) Project Analysis Course (2011-2012) Course Overview

Intensive Group Work Sessions: At this session, student will be divided into groups (6-8 students per group) Each group chooses a project case to develop The group then: finds requirements for the project case, analyzes the requirements, Specifies & models the requirements to design a system and lastly, presents final results. Project Cases: From a chosen project case, groups should: Do intensive literature review for the case Design & model a system for the case Prepare final report to be presented on 2 nd July by all groups. Group Work Expected Outcomes: Total of Five Presentations: 1 st on 7 th June - on project idea 2 nd on 15 th June - on Requirement elicitation & analysis results 3 rd on 21 st June – on system modeling & design results 4 th on 29 th June- on first draft final results 5 th on 02 nd July – final presentation Final Project Report- to be submitted on 2 nd July Project Analysis Course (2011-2012) Course Overview
