2 Part C: Grammar 1. Provide complete sentence trees for the first two sentences shown in the passage below (those sentences that are underlined). 2. Provide appropriate editorial symbols for each error in the passage. Provide these symbols directly on the passage as shown below. Then, on a separate sheet of paper, provide a corrected version of the passage. The sentences in this passages body are real simple and short. It has a number of errors, the occasional major faux pas, and a bit of waz-happinin’ grammar. The ridiculous parts were developed by the teacher. Hes good at this stuff. I, on the other hand, slam the words down well. But don’t tell the Mr. Jones that cause he thinks I’m needin’ t’improve my style, and, like, he’s like that with the other students in the class and I think that this is unfair. 12 The sentences in this passage’s body are very simple and short. It has a number of errors, the occasional faux pas, and a bit of what's happening grammar. The ridiculous parts were developed by the teacher. He's good at this stuff. I, on the other hand, slam the words down well. But don’t tell Mr. Jones that because he thinks I need to improve my style, he’s also like that with the other students in the class and I think that this is unfair. Grade 9 is like that so you’ve got to be tough. Tough like a rubber chicken!!
