TEXTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY Using light and emphasizing patterning to create form.

“The Golden Hours” The hours in and around dawn and dusk (particularly dusk). Light appears warm or golden in tone. Light appears at an angle that makes photographing subjects easier. Light at a low angle in portraiture may cover a subjects face more evenly.

Mid-day Sun Shooting at full sun can have advantages too. Rough textures are often highlighted when the sun is high in the sky.
