CEOS Working Group on Information Systems and Services - 2 Status of OGC Specifications for Delivery of Information Over the World Wide Web o WMS (web map services) n A specification in widespread use n Forms the enabling technology behind The National Map – Allows map services to be rendered on a clients interactive map viewer from multiples servers o WCS (web coverage services) n In draft form n Recently demonstrated in the Critical Infrastructure Protection Initiative (CIPI- 1) phase 1 test bed o WFS (web feature services) n In draft form n Also demonstrated in the CIPI- 1 test bed
