Buoyancy by: Alaina Brinkerhoff Buoyancy is when something floats.
2
When something has buoyancy, it floats. It is a part of physics, a force that pushes upward to keep something afloat, against the law of gravity. Buoyancy is what causes an object to either float instead sink.
3
Buoyancy is the ability to float or rise in water. Buoyancy is the term to describe the ability for something to float. If something is very buoyant, It will float above the water.
4
Buoyancy can hold a boat in water because of its strong walls. We use buoyancy because if we didn’t have buoyancy boats wouldn’t have the ability to float. Buoyancy floats better in salt water than regular water. Salt water is thicker than water because of the salt in it. Buoyancy is an amazing thing!
