SujalaMahithi Deployed in Sujala Districts ( Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Tumkur, Chitradurga, Haveri, Dharwad) Used as stand alone Package, can also be used as Web based application The Package ‘SujalaMahithi’, has been customized for Sujala project and it is being used by the field functionaries (District Watershed offices and Filed NGOs) at micro watershed level. The package allows the user to query, analyze and generate reports at different levels of user’s choice. i.e Information could be generated on specific project components at State / District Taluk / Sub watershed / Micro watershed level on a weekly / monthly basis.

19. Highlights Department has Website – http://watershed.kar.nic.in and it is updated periodically. It is proposed to have Audio - Video conferencing Modern tools like Remote sensing, Satellite Communication (SATCOM), Geographical Information System (GIS) are being effectively used in the Department. Department had received e-Governance Award for the year 2008-09 for adoption for e-Governance initiatives in Sujala Watershed Project.
