9. Mercator Projection: shows true shape but distorts size Look at Greenland in comparison to the US.

10. Robinson Projection: shows fairly accurate size and shape of land with only a little distortion.

11. Latitude: measure of distance North or South of the equator. - these lines run East to West - The equator is o° latitude.

12. Longitude: measure of distance East or West of Prime Meridian. - these lines run North to South - The Prime Meridian is o° longitude.
