47 This questionnaire was prepared and answered in the framework of Lifelong Learning Program Comenius multilateral school partnership project „Let’s First Understand Our National Heritage in order to Define and Build Our European Identity“. Questionnaire was answered by 18 students and 18 parents. Conclusions and presentation made by Monika Futiakiewicz

48 This is a report based on a questionnaire on healthy habits and values. It was answered by 15 parents and 15 students. The results were as follows:

49 1 st question: 14 % of the parents answered that they get information on healthy food from magazines and newspapers, 14 % get this information from TV, 58 % from the internet, whereas 0 % from posters/leaflets. Friends and relatives are a source of information on healthy food for another 14 %.

50 As for the students asked, 9 % said that they get information from magazines and newspapers, 9 % claim that they get such information from TV, 46 %from the internet and 0 % from posters and leaflets. Another 9 % are informed by friends/relatives and the 27 % get information on what is healthy and what is not from school.

51 2 nd question: 100 % of the parents who were questioned why eating healthy is important said it is for health reasons, 0 % suggest that it is more tasty and 0 % think that eating healthy is trendy. On the same topic, students say it is for health reasons (100 %).It is more tasty for 0% and 0 % of them think it is fashionable.

52 3 rd question: When asked how much practical knowledge they got from school, 0 % of the parents answered “a great deal”, 86 % said “some” and 14 % “none”. As for the students, 0 % said “a great deal”, 100 % “some” and 0 % said that they get no practical knowledge at school.

53 4 th question: In terms of physical activity, 29 % of the parents said that they work out every day, 14% work out three times a week, 0 % three times a month and 57 % of them never work out. On the other hand, 0 % of their children work out every day. 100 % have some kind of physical activity three times a week, 0 % three times a month and 0 % never work out.

54 5 th question: Continuing the previous question, they were asked their opinion why it is important to work out 86 % of the parents said to improve health, 14 % to reduce stress levels, 0% for image purposes and another 0% to meet people and socialize.

55 Students’ opinion is somewhat different. 55 % said for health reasons, 9 % to reduce stress, 36 % to improve their image and lose weight and 0 % to meet people.

56 6 th question: When asked what about values and things of utmost importance, 100 % of the parents said that it is family, 0 % said it is their job, 0 % money and another 0 % claim it is personal fulfillment. The students’ answers suggest family (64 %). 0 % said it is their future job, 0 % money and another 36 % personal fulfillment.

57 7 th question: When parents were asked if school should play a more active role in developing a good character in children, 43 % strongly agree on that statement, 57 % simply agree, 0 % disagree, 0 % strongly disagree and another 0 % has no opinion on the issue.

58 Students, on the other hand, expressed their strong agreement (46 %). 36% agree, 0% disagree, 0 % strongly disagree and 18 % expressed no opinion.

59 8 th question: When asked if developing characters is solely the responsibility of the parents and schools should not be involved, 0 % of the parents strongly agreed. 0 % agreed, 100% disagreed, 0 % strongly disagreed and 0 % had no opinion. On the same question, students who strongly agreed are the 0 %. 0 % agreed, 55% disagreed, 27 % strongly disagreed and 18 % had no opinion.

60 9 th question: Both parents and students were asked if they think that their behavioral manners and values are the same between parents and children. 0 % of the parents strongly agree, 57 % agree, 29 % disagree with this statement, 14 % strongly disagree and 0 % expressed no opinion.

61 9 % of the students asked strongly agree, 46 % agree, 27 % disagree, 18 % strongly disagree and 0 % have no opinion on the topic.

62 10 th question: 0 % of the parents strongly agree with the statement that nowadays one has to lie or cheat at least once in order to succeed. 0 % simply agree, 72 % disagree, 14% strongly disagree and 14 % have no opinion.

63 On the same topic, 0 % of the students asked said that they strongly agree, 18 % agree, 46 % disagree, 27 % strongly disagree and 9 % have no opinion.

64 11 th question: 0 % of the parents said that they strongly agree with the statement that they are more ethical than most people they know, 43 % agreed, 28,5 % disagreed, 0 % strongly disagreed and 28,5 % had no opinion.

65 As for the students, 9 % strongly agree with the statement, 27 % agree, 9 % disagree, 0 % strongly disagree, whereas 55 % has no opinion.

66 12 th question: When asked if they are satisfied with their own ethics and character, 29 % of the parents strongly agree, 57 % agree, 0 % disagree, 0 % strongly disagree and 14 % have no opinion.

67 From the students’ point of view, 36 % strongly agree, 64 % agree, 0 % disagree, 0 % strongly disagree and 0 % expressed no opinion.

68 13 th question: On terms of educational level, 0 % of the parents asked are primary school graduates, 14 % have finished Junior High, 43 % have completed High School. 43 % have some kind of University degree.
