4.  Soft Start Play in P1 is a timetabled part of the day. Every child has an opportunity to learn through play within the day. It is not just used as an activity for quick finishers, but a valuable part of the school experience.

5.  Short inputs to differentiated groups in Literacy and Numeracy,  IDL related lessons, singing games, circle time.  Story Time Daily opportunities to hear stories  Stations Time to reinforce and extend learning in key areas. Range of experiences provided for children to try. Variety of independent, small group, adult led; ICT included.  Self Assessment Children encouraged to think about their learning and feedback to adults on progress.
