My Classroom n Class Procedure –10 minutes Cornell Notes –20-25 minutes Question and Answer PowerPoint game. –25-30 minutes class work or group activities. –5 minutes wrap up.

Assignments n Cornell Notes –Cornell University –Done for every section of every chapter throughout the entire book. –Worth a quiz grade. –Due the day of the chapter test. –Students work at their own pace. n Tests –Per chapter.

Make up Work and Absences n Absences- Give your excused absence note to your homeroom teacher. n Make-Up Work –While the student waits for the note to be excused he/she should begin to work on their make-up work. –The grade in the grade book for any missed assignments will be a ZERO= FF until the work is made up and the absence is excused.

Consequences n All the consequences depend on the offense. Ms. Russo reserves the right to use any of the consequences when deemed necessary. –1 st Offense- student will receive a verbal warning by Ms. Russo. –2 nd Offense- student will be given a note to be take home stating the nature of the offense (as it relates to the Code of Student Conduct) to be signed by parent and returned the next day. –3 rd Offense- Ms. Russo will request a Parent/Teacher Conference (either at school or over the phone). –4 th Offense- Student will receive a detention. –5 th Offense- Student will be referred to the administration for further discipline measures.
