6 PRESENTATION TITLE | DATE BioUtah Recent Successes Defeated Taxing the Life Science Industry to fund the State match for Medicaid Expansion Worked collaboratively with national organizations and BioUtah members to educate policy makers on the impact a tax on industry would have on job and economic growth in Utah Testified against taxing the life science industry to help pay for Medicaid Expansion Released the BioUtah State of the Utah’s Life Science Industry Report Held policy briefing on Capitol Hill for policy makers and business leaders Met with Utah’s Federal Delegation, introduced them to BioUtah and educated on our key policy priorities Met with Senator’s Hatch and Lee on the impact patent litigation reform on LS ecosystem
