Organizing Committee Invitation from the President It is my greatest pleasure to invite you to the 11 th Korean Peptide Symposium that will be hosted at the Dasan Hall of Sogang University, Seoul, Korea, on November 30 th, 2007. The organizing committee for this Symposium chaired by Professor Han Bin Oh at Sogang University has done a wonderful job in recruiting world-renowned International and Korean speakers at this Symposium. A special attention will be focused on the role of the peptide science and technology at this post-genomic and proteomic era. As you all are very well aware, the peptide science is providing a new paradigm in the 21 st century for a unique interdisciplinary research opportunity including chemistry, biology, physics, engineering, and medicine. I sincerely hope that many peptide scientists in both academic and industrial avenues will be able to participate in this Symposium and in the discussion and information exchange in any form including the poster presentation. According to our tradition, the Symposium will kick off with presentation from young scientists in the peptide research field and I do recommend all of you to take part in this exciting Young Scientists Session and in doing so encourage the Young peptide scientists. Finally I welcome you all and hope to see you on November 30 th in Seoul. President of the Korean Peptide Society Kyung-Soo Hahm
