2. Discussion Questions Answer the following in groups (this is a homework grade due at end of class): Examine the cause/effect of Mitch’s first visit with Morrie (pgs 41-43). How does Morrie’s culture compare to Mitch’s culture? What are the differences? Analyze the “tension of opposites” (pg 40) and apply it to Mitch’s life after college. What about the tension of opposites in your own life. Do you agree or disagree with Morrie’s conclusion?

3. Homework Read Chapters: The first Tuesday – The Second Tuesday (pgs. 48-61) ANNOTATE Be prepared to tell Mrs. Bria what Morrie says is the most important thing in life to learn.
