2. Media Coverage Today Today's media coverage effects the way that most Americans view the United States administration a lot. According to the Investors Business Daily the coverage on Iraq, having been its all time best since December 2006, has dropped to cover a measly 3 percent. The situation in Iraq is improving with the death rates and government improving everyday and most people are still unaware of this. The setbacks that have occurred can not be published enough but the positive things like the fact that the Iraqi government has added un to20000 Iraqi troops to fight is no where to be seen.

3. Why? One of the main reasons that this is so is because the media feels that the good news is not good news for them. They need to keep the people hooked and it has been proven because of the incompetent media coverage most people feel that the war in Iraq has been lost. This is so according to a poll done. The results of the poll show that 49 percent of the people polled by the IBD/TIPP feel that the war in Iraq has been lost. Most are unaware that the U.S. will be removing 3000 troops in the next upcoming months.

4. Rep. v. Dem. The difference in opinion about Iraq shows the difference in political parties. Republicans polled are 79 percent hopeful the war in Iraq will turn out all right. Only 44 percent of the Democrats polled remain hopeful. What significance might this have? Well know we know how the true feelings lie. The polls can not be that effective but they do allow us to see how the feelings fall amongst Americans.

5. Media You can see Media Coverage has a huge effect on the opinion of everyday Americans and with the information given to us is being filtered we must look and research to find the truth because to have your own opinion you must be well informed on both sides.
