2 Introduction to Internships  The statistics according to Vault.com: Almost 9 out of 10 (86%) of college students reported completing at least one internship More than two thirds (69%) reported completing two or more internships PROVIDE SOME OF OUR OWN STATS HERE ON INTERNSHIPS? BOTH EMPLOYER AND STUDENT

3 What is an Internship?  Many people define internships and/or service learning in a number of ways - here is one definition: An internship is any carefully monitored work or service experience in which a student has intentional learning goals and reflects actively on what they have learned throughout the experience. This experience is generally related directly to their academic program of study.
