3. The WIA Section 188 Disability Checklist is? A checklist or a group of questions that assist One Stop staff in determining what disabilities a person may have and how the One Stop staff might be able to serve that particular person with a disability. A checklist of various elements used to address how One Stops are meeting and implementing Federal requirements on nondiscrimination and equal opportunity provisions. A distribution checklist to provide staff with information such as where WIA disability information is to go and to whom WIA disability information is to be shared with.

4. The ADA does not contain a list of medical conditions that constitute disabilities and neither does WIA, the ADA has a broad definition of disability. A person has a disability “if he/she has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities or being regarded as having an impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities”.
