2013 & 2014: –Survey respondents were sent a “class list” of contact and placement information for their graduating class –Access to the class list was an incentive to complete the 2014 survey Success of Yale’s response rate

Because of high response rate, social media is not relied on for initial data LinkedIn is used to verify that the student got or took the job, if listed as “in progress” on survey The Office of Career Strategy finds facebook more effective than LinkedIn or Twitter for reaching current students Uses of Social Media
