The INTERVIEW! 1)Be PROMPT 1)Arrive about 10 minutes early. 2)Find the location of the interview BEFORE the day of the interview. 2)INTRODUCE yourself in a courteous manner 3)Be PLEASANT 1)In both VERBAL and NONVERBAL language 2)Be attentive, alert and interested - LISTEN too. 4)DO NOT chew Gum

Your DRESS and APPEARANCE How you LOOK makes a statement before you even speak! First Impression = Appearance

Does APPEARANCE MATTER … YES! Clothing should be: 1)Appropriate for the job being sought 2)Clean and pressed 3)Conservative Personal Grooming 1)Hair, nails, and beards should be neat and trim. Avoid: Excessive make up, perfume, jewelry, or extreme styles
