3 Revised Excluded Expenditures  Property/Casualty insurance will not be excluded – only catastrophic insurance  Capital expenditures of less than $2.5K will be excluded to the extent they are improvements and not repairs, for example  Adding a new computer --Yes  Repairing broken pews -- No 3

4 Second Priest Expense Reduction  Subject is still being analyzed by the Archdiocese finance committee – no easy solution  If it were to be handled within the current allocation process and methodology, the impact on parishes’ allocation would be  Small parishes – a few hundred additional dollars  Medium size parishes – a few thousand additional dollars  Large parishes with one priest – significant increase  Large parishes with two priests – significant reduction 4
