1.  from the above definitions, we can conclude some general features of the international relations as the following transnational, domestic multi-lateral, goal oriented.

2.  international relations goes beyond the boundaries of one unit or member to interrelate with another on it (s) or member (S) of the international community, for example, unit (A) state, international organization, non governmental organizations (NGO’s) communicates unit (B) to negotiate on mutual exchange of commerce, diplomatic relations………

3.  means that international relations are conducted and exchanged on both official and non official levels. official relations are exchanged among the person of the international community (state and international organizations) regarding political issues (peace,war,alliances,boundaries,and diplomatic minorities……) Non-officials international relations are exchanged among non- governmental actors or among the governmental and non- governmental actors regarding non-political issues (trading,culture,health,education…………..

4.  in the sense that here must be as a minimum two units(actors,members) of that international community which interrelate which other.

5.  international relations are based upon the theme “idea” that each member or unit interrelate with others in order to promote it’s own interests including the interests of the international community as a whole.for example,state (A) interrelates with state B,C,D…..in order to establish a free-nuclear zone in their region.

6.  international relations as a field of study it is a part of the world politics, in the mean while international relations related to many other disciplines such as economie,geopolitics,sociology and others…………

7.  the distinction or differentiation of international relations from other related concepts: there are some other concepts which are more or less related to and linked with international relations such as in particular foreign policy.

8.  Although both have to do with the international arena and are goal oriented, still international relations is distinct from foreign policy while foreign policy is unilateralist because in the sense that it reflects the attitude of one unite, international relations is multilateralistic where it embodies more than two unites to interrelate with each other.

9.  For example Egypt “ as a goal-oriented “ of its foreign policy adopts the idea of making the middle east area free from all mass destructive weapon. 10.  For example :stat (A)decided as a goal of it’s foreign policy to increase military allocation in the public budget, state (B) reacted to this by increasing military allocation in its public budget.  The action and the reaction on this issue leads to the conclusion that the two states are conducting international relations on or regarding armament ( race of armament)
