Introduction oIn this work we are talking about some endangered species. oEnjoy this work!
5
Iberian Lynx oThe Iberian wolf is classified as a member of the order Carnivore and is a mammal. oThe Iberian Wolf is a subspecies of grey wolf that inhabits the forest and plains of Portugal and northwestern Spain.
6
Koala oThe koala is broadly similar in appearance to the wombat (its closest living relative) but has a thicker coat, much larger ears, and longer limbs. oThe koala has large, sharp claws to assist with climbing tree trunks. oThe koala has five fingers which are arranged with opposable thumbs, providing better gripping ability. oThe first two fingers are positioned in apposition on the front paws, and the first three fingers for the hind paws.
7
Panda oThe Giant Panda is a bear native to central- western and southwestern China. oIt is easily recognized by its large, distinctive black patches around the eyes, over the ears, and across its round body. oThough belonging to the order Carnivore, the Giant Panda has a diet which is 99% bamboo.
8
Polar Bear oThe polar bear is a bear that lives in the Arctic Ocean and its surrounding seas. oThey are the world's largest carnivore found on land, oAlthough they live in the ocean, most polar bears are born on land.
9
Snow Leopard oThe snow leopard, sometimes known as "ounce," is a moderately large cat native to the mountain ranges of Central Asia. oThe classification of this species has been subject to change and its exact taxonomic position will not be resolved until further studies are conducted.
10
Blue Whale oThe Blue Whale is a marine mammal belonging to the suborder of baleen whales. At up to 32.9 metres (108 feet) in length and 172 metric tonnes (190 short tons) or more in weight, it is the largest animal ever to have existed. oLong and slender, the Blue Whale's body can be various shades of bluish- grey dorsally and somewhat lighter underneath.
11
Crowned Solitary Eagle oThe Crowned Solitary Eagle, typically know simply as the Crowned Eagle is an endangered bird of prey from eastern and central South America. oThe Crowned Solitary Eagle lives typically in Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia, and Argentina.
12
Tiger oThe tiger is a member of the Felidae family; the largest of the four "big cats" in the genus Panthera. oThe tiger is an apex predator and an obligate carnivore. Reaching up to 4 metres 13 ft in total length and weighing up to 300 kilograms, the larger tiger subspecies are comparable in size to the biggest extinct felids.
13
Conclusion oWith this work, we want to help the endangered species and we expect our teacher to enjoy this work.
